Day Two of MP4B… yeah, no surprises here: I’m really enjoying my time with the game so far. Definitely a much different experience than the original, but by no means is it a bad game… well, not as far as I can tell as of this moment. I’ve heard the game gets a little rough at the end. Guess I’ll have to see for myself.

Glad you're enjoying it; I did too, not quite as much as prior entries but still enough that I consider it worth the time + money.

A tip to make the endgame less painful; whenever you're traversing the desert make sure to grab green crystals as you go.

I’ve already spent 2hr grinding green crystals lol. Honestly, I really don’t mind grinding in an open world sandbox— I did play TotK+BotW for 700hr. This is child’s play by comparison.

You should be all set then; there are a few fetch quest type things to unlock the final boss, but the roadblock most people hit is not enough crystals.

Also when you're in Fury Green, don' forget to cash in your crystals, some of the upgrades like a stronger beam are useful.

Amazon sucks anyway.

Hey all. Do any of you watch Arlo? I’ve been keeping up with him, well, the days leading up to Switch 1’s launch. Recently though I really have begun to notice a shift in his content… anyone else notice this?

I really started noticing issues when he was making tons of videos discussing how Switch 2 is having a rough Holiday quarter (the quarter which saw over 7mil units ship WW), and recently I feel lkke it’s just been one concern post after another— just the other day, he posted about how worried he is that there may not be another Nintendo Direct for a very long time.

I can’t even watch him anymore. Just hoping this is a weird little phase of his.

Negative content that sparks arguments sells better. Happens to most channels eventually.

You never want your channel to just be an echo chamber, even if your channel is platform-centric. Need to cover the good and the bad, but I do agree that Arlo has taken it a bit far recently. He put out positive videos of Pokémon Winds/Waves and Kirby Air Riders, but then he's been posting videos that don't really have much to do with the games.

One of which was about Nintendo's stock going down 33% and I'm like.....when did you ever start covering company stock prices? There was also a video of him saying that Nintendo needs to do better in 2026, and also that Nintendo is in for a rough year because of the Yen being weak, cost of living, shortages, etc. Stuff that doesn't have anything to do with games or unconstructive criticism.

Those kinds of videos seem purely made for engagement purposes and seems to be working unfortunately. His most viewed video in the past few months is simply titled "uh oh...." with the thumbnail being very doom and gloom inspired for Nintendo lol.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Just... Not even one week and people have already built Wakanda in their games.

How's that a bad thing?

Didn't say it was, I'm guessing you haven't seen the funny meme on social media where some people have just completed one building while someone else has built a city.
