Wow Mario Bros 2 is a lot harder than I was expecting it to be. It took me 7hr to get through the game, and it only features 20 levels. Having to start over from the very start of the world every time you Game Over is brutal! You’ve only got three chances— really requires you to learn where everything is in a given level.

As far as rankings are concerned: SMB 2 > SMB 3 >> SMB1. And yes, I’m talking about the Doki Panic reskin, not Lost Levels.

I want to highlight just how good HD Rumble is in RE9, you feel everything from every hit the characters take to even the rain.

You can say that for practically every game from the 80s and 90s lol

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Especially the 80s. But no mainline Mario game has been as unfair as Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels.

LOL! I just booted up MP4B again directly after having finished my play-through of SMB3… it was like having a bucket of ice water poured on me. My brain literally couldn’t process the 4k 60fps visuals, my jaw just slammed to the floor.

Seems to be falling into place, we had the rumours earlier this year in regards to some character art and more recently the musical team behind prior XBC games was seen in a studio together again wrapping up the arrangements for an unannounced project.

Will it be another Xenoblade Chronicles game or something brand new?

Day Two of MP4B… yeah, no surprises here: I’m really enjoying my time with the game so far. Definitely a much different experience than the original, but by no means is it a bad game… well, not as far as I can tell as of this moment. I’ve heard the game gets a little rough at the end. Guess I’ll have to see for myself.

Glad you're enjoying it; I did too, not quite as much as prior entries but still enough that I consider it worth the time + money.

A tip to make the endgame less painful; whenever you're traversing the desert make sure to grab green crystals as you go.
