Nintendo’s approach to NS2 is exactly the reason why developing AA titles is so important: Lower budgets and less dev time = more games, more risks, and more opportunities for really good and unique ideas to stick.

Case and Point: DKBananza, Kirby Air Riders, Pokémon Pokopia.

Also… did nobody watch the Indie Presentation or something? Not even a single comment talking about it on this site.

Because it's been so long since the last one.

There was some pretty cool stuff on show in the Indie World:

Deadzone, Denshattack, and Midnight Walk have my interest.

Anything you guys are interested in?

While all the RE games are expected at this point it seems DMC is to follow suit.

If they make another Donkey Kong 3D platformer, should it be a sequel to Bananza?

Denshattack, Blue Prince, Ratata, and that one game with the aircraft. With how many games I have on my radar ATM, however, I don’t suspect I’ll be purchasing anything. Again, too many games is a real problem I struggle with (lol!).

Speaking of the Indie World, I grabbed Minishoot Adventures which shadow dropped today on Switch 1 + 2 and it's terrific so far, highly recommend it.

It's a really great marriage of twin stick shooter and 2D Zelda.
