Pokopia reviews WAY abovey expectations. Never thought 90 was on the table.

It's currently the highest rated pokemon game ever and on par with Animal Crossing New Horizons. This could be a huge spin-off for pokemon. These cozy games have big sales potential and have been very popular on the original switch.

Yeah, I wrote it off initially but then watched the overview trailer a few weeks back and honestly it looks like a brilliant and creative use of the IP. So kudos to Nintendo and Namco. Still probably not my thing but I hope we get some more innovative Pokemon spinoffs.

My original dream with the Legends franchise is that they would use it to tell more story driven/thematic pokemon games with a smaller roaster/location but higher production value and more dynamic combat. The combat part is slightly ticked, hoping the other parts become true too.

Well… I guess I have no choice but to pick up Pokopia now. Lol! Highest rated Switch 2 exclusive besides DK (and Hades II). Also, this marks the highest rated Pokémon game of all time— higher than RERequiem as well. Never could’ve seen that one coming.

Pokopia creating a new branch for the franchise, the AC crowd are well catered to in the second half of the S2's first year with the S2 Edition of AC, Pokopia and Tomodachi, Nintendo is locking that crowd down early on this time around. Pokopia also becomes an unexpected GOTY contender joining DKB and the recently released RE9.
