One thing I really appreciate about FF7 is how snappy the load times are. Getting into a save file is quick, and when you boot up the game you're back where you left off very quickly, as opposed to so many other games that takes ages.

Decided to venture outside my comfort zone again and grabbed GRID Legends; not normally into "realistic" racers but wanted to try something different, especially in light of how good a port it apparently is.

Censored how?

Ye, they allow cyberpunk but make them censor this. No idea what nintendo are thinking here. My only thought for their dumb reasoning is something like "It's cartoony so people might think it's for kids!"

I don't know if there are any cartoony games on Switch with explicit nudity, rather than just heavily suggestive.

If people keep predicting a direct it will eventually be true.

Honestly, been a while since a direct really wowed me. My expectations are kind of low.

I feel like Nintendo was on a bit of a hot streak up until the September Direct. I’m just eager to learn a little more about this year… so far, the most we’ve seen of any of the upcoming releases is the overview trailer for Mario Tennis Fever. Not much details on the story or anything really.

I kind of have been feeling since the end of the Switch era that they must be preparing a big blowout for Switch 2. And... it hasn't happened. Im honestly a little underwhelmed by Switch 2 so far. Dk and Kirby are the only Switch 2 exclusives I've actually been playing.

I felt the same way about 3ds and that wound up being one of my favorite system so they could turn it around but im feeling meh ATM.

That said its selling very well so what the fuck do i know.

Fifteen minutes till the tomodachi direct.

Nintendo’s gone wild this past week lol. Two directs in a single week… have they ever done such a thing before? Also, game-centered directs typically predate release by no more than a few months. My guess is that Tomodachi Life is coming in mid-to-late April.

Lol I always love when my (totally not luck-based!) predictions are correct: Mid-to-late April it is! April 16th. I’m debating whether I’ll pick up the game— not a huge fan of these sorts of games. But I’ll definitely consider it.

Really enjoyed the presentation though. Seems Nintendo is really sticking faithful to a lot of what people find so charming about the original, all while expanding the scope of the game (via e.g. increased customization options). All-in-all, very good showing! I say that any Tomodachi Life fan will thoroughly be pleased with this release.

What a bunch of pussies. -_-

NatetheHate and Andre from GameXplain claiming the Direct next week will be a Partner Showcase.

Quite a few online will probably be upset that it's a partner showcase, but it feels like Nintendo really wants to nail down that the Switch 2 is just as much a third-party developer system as it is first-party.

Would be a good time to get announcements of Monster Hunter Wilds, Silent Hill f, Metal Gear Solid Delta, etc. I'm most looking forward to Orbitals!

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Dispatch btw is censored because the is no separate version for Japan which has laws about showing genitals etc... PC games in Japan are not rated which is how the PC version got around it (all console games released that have sensitive content have two versions btw in order to release in Japan), they may do a patch for the west later on but it seems this is to adhere to CERO, PS5 version in Japan released today it seems that's censored as well but is a separate version to the western release. I think what happened here is on Switch they wanted a global launch so did the censored version to get the game out.

Very bad move. There has been a lot of backlash and I've seen a lot getting refunds due to false advertising. The lack of transparency about it has really angered people.
