This poll from ResetEra is really compelling me to play DKBananza as my next game.You mean to tell me that this game has quality that it even in the same ballpark as Mario Odyssey?? No way!

Maybe even more than Odyssey.

Nah that’s impossible… there’s no way this game is that good. Don’t get my hopes up like that. (Though I will remain open to the possibility.)

Also, interesting tidbit about myself: Mario Odyssey is the only non-Zelda game I’ve poured over 240hr of playtime into. I’ve 100% completed that game time and time again. Incredible game!

For me it is in the same ballpark.
I'd give Odyssey a slight edge as it's more varied, but both are among my favourite games of recent years.

It easily is imo it has a therapeutic comfort to it's gameplay, it has SMO's template but it goes off in its own direction.

Holy shit back at my gf's place for the first time in several weeks, where my good TV is, and FF7R and Layers of Fear on Switch 2 look insanely good on a decent screen, my crappy old 1080p set at my old place doesn't do them justice at all. (I have a replacement on the way, but it's taking forever)

Probably the two best looking games I have played on Switch 2 so far.
