Prime 4 is fast and smooth alright, got the NSW2 version.

Welp, I have to make a choice right now. I either wait to play Metroid Prime 4 (NS2 Edition) this weekend (with a bit of Air Riders on the side) and play Octopath Traveler 0 tonight,
or do the reverse ...

With MP4:Beyond finally having been released, it feels a little weird to think that we no longer have any more of those “Release Date: TBA” games from Nintendo: Bayo3, Pikmin 4, BotW2, and MP4:Beyond have all finally been released. It’s almost a surreal thought…
Seems Nintendo isn’t looking to do any more of these “revealed too soon” style of releases judging by upcoming releases. I’m curious how quick of a marketing cycle games such as 3D Mario and Zelda will get moving forward: Wonder had 4 months, Odyssey had 10 months, but BotW/TotK both had 4-5y.
I'd really recommend giving the mouse controls a go in Prime 4.

Screenshot looking gorgeous there !
Would you also recommend the use of a mouse pad when using the mouse controls or is it correct if I just use it on my lap or bed sheet for example ?

Splatoon Raiders is still listed as TBA; hopefully it's not too far off.

I'd say whatever you feel is better for yourself me personally I use it on a mouse pad or something flat (small tray, hard or sturdy book/catalogue etc...).

Ah! I just reached a perfect solution to my decision on my December game: I will play Clair Obscur next week, do a run through of the original Metroid Prime Trilogy and then do MP4:Beyond, and DKBananza will be treated like “Mario Galaxy” (i.e. I tried playing Mario Galaxy in 2017 & 2018 several times, but each time I would drop the game early out of boredom. It always sat on my “I want to give this game my care and attention, and understand why people love it so much!” list, until Spring 2022 came around when I would finally do my first 100% run).
All that’s well ends well. Hopefully I can sneak DKBananza in sooner rather than later.

Guess I'll try on the mouse control first without an even book/pad surface before deciding if I'll use one of my soft cover books for support 👍
Otherwise, I should maybe look for an official licensed mouse pad
