Also, thinking on this more I'm more likely to believe that NeoGaf is protecting itself moreso than protecting some former moderator. His crime and identity is now public information and I'm sure the site would rather sever any kind of tie to him that could potentially hurt their image.

If he is a former mod, than yeah, that's likely their attitude.  No need to have his sick posts stinking up the joint and tainting their reputation, is likely what they are thinking.

I have a 16 Month old son. I dont give a damn about the rights of a pedo. If someone just looks at my son more than 5 minutes he will find his face in the next car window. Never humanize a pedo. Even a pedo Mind is for me as a father a no go. I dont care about laws. I care about my son and other children.

Uh, looks like there's nothing going on there, judging by the discussion behind the provided links. If anything, seems like he hasn't been a moderator in at least years, and the current moderators are distancing themselves from him even further. Seems like almost everything's contrary to what's stated by the OP.

That's the thing though. As hard as it may be for you to admit it, they are human. Denying that is never going to change anything, as we need to understand why a human would have those urges, instead of just believing that they're not human and thus would do it no matter what.

That may be your feeling, and I agree that it is a sick mindset.  However, dehumanization, opression, denial of basic human rights doesn't help.  When you oppress someone with an invalid position, you hand them valid ammunition, giving them power to rally support they otherwise could not.  Don't chase your enemy onto a hill, force them to fight on the level ground with everyone else.  There, they must stand on the merits of their position.

As I said, you have avenues of legitimate action.  You can pursue those or not, your choice.  You can curse the darkness or try to light a candle.  The latter might see results, the former will just elevate your blood pressure. 

One day. When you hold your daughter or your son or both in your hand and you will understand that your own life is not imprtant anymore next to him/her. And you would give your life without any second of thinking for your son/daughter, that day you will not humanize anymore those monsters.
