Anything you can share?

Under NDA(s), but here's what I can offer...

Quick question. Will the drive for ever more photo realistic games increase the work load on designers exponentially or are the creation tools evolving fast enough to mitigate that?

So beautiful.

i vote for "Yes, absolutely"! And the next great games with beautiful (reference-)graphic are coming: God of War, The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding : )

I'm pretty sure the only game that will benifet directly is Death stranding.

the chance is very big : )

Here is a great (Graphic-)Poll for PS4 Games. Write a comment, if you like = ) Your thoughts are interesting for me :)

Don't worry. There are other kinds of beautiful graphics that are not so much limited by technology, but creativity.

the Persona 5 design looks fantastic, yes !! : )

As newer tools come along, we're actually finding it easier.

That sounds promising.

Generations aren't defined by graphical leaps. They're defined by successive hardware releases. The gameplay of those games, in my opinion, feel like refined 6th generation games. The graphics are amazing though.

Graphical leaps are one of the hallmarks of new generations because of the fact that they are trying to sell gamers new espxerienxes with tech.

Started playing Horizon. Eerrrmmmaaaaaggaaawwddd this game is beautiful. How the Frack did they pull this off an a regular PS4?!

I think we, who have played horizon have asked ourselves that hundreds of times while playing. If you're only starting now you have seen NOTHING yet. hehe/

Sad they didn't put much muscles behind Pro

Poll needs a 7th gen option. For feel, of course. Not looks.

Yeah, one of the things that makes games like Horizon or Uncharted still feel quite behind is often the lack of a natural facial expression in its characters (in addition to, a lack of actual human characteristsics, such as peach fuzz). This will be one of the bigger jumps you'll see in next generation games. I've worked tirelessly with other Developers and Desingers on ths in the last five years (even dialing back on some of my other projects). Muscle definition, accurate vascularity, and finer details are the big thing for next gen. And never mind what we're able to do with environments:

We still have a ways to go - you probably won't see a 100% accurate recreation of a human being until the PlayStation 6/Xbox 5 are rolling out, but believe me, the 9th gen will really show you how far technology has come:

Gorgeous images but the facial fur seems to big and dense for normal facial hair, seems almost like beard and a little out of place.

There are actually women out there with facial fuzz like that. We use it as an example of just how dense we can make it without a real hit on hardware (which, btw, you should expect, at least, 10TF consoles).

Gotcha, was think on atractive women =p but I have seem fuzzy people from time to time. And i never asked about your avatar (it really give me one hell of a uncanny valley).

10TF consoles would still seem a little low considering we had the midgen. I would rather wait a little longer.

Not a chance unless they take a loss, and even then...500 maybe. i cant see how they will release anything double pro power for under 600 even in 2020/21

10TF is just a 6x over PS4 released 7 years earlier so it wouldn't be over 600... and considering PS4Pro and X1X, 10TF would be too litle improvement for new gen.

Here's the full version of that pic (yes, still uncanny )

Sure they can (and will). A 10TF PlayStation in 2019/2020 can release for $399. You'll see, as that's, really, not as powerful as it sounds. There are already graphics cards that easily mop the floor with that (my graphics card in 2017 is ahead, for instance). By then, 10TF won't even be a real discussion among enthusiasts, but the mainstream consumer is what it'll be marketed to.

I liked the full pic.

I'm talking about the blue eyed girl on the avatar, it gives me creep.
