I still think these numbers are incorrect. The PS4 has been averaging over 3M in software per week but here we have less than 900k physical?

Look at the recent games released... nothing too exciting for the PS4. Also it's late spring.. people arent buying as much games. I dont think it's unreasonable considering that.

I disagree - in fact, actual data shows that people are buying a lot of games - an average of over 3M games a week, as I already posted. So is that not reflected here?

-17% means last week weren't 3M either.

Which data, where?

The drop in Zelda-numbers worries me. It stayed more or less stable for some time. Does this drop indicate lower Switch-hardware-numbers?

80M PS4 games as for June 11th. And here VGC has it has 33M as of the 13th of May. Either sales will be through the roof in the next month or digital sales have crossed the 60% ratio.

Sony official numbers of software sold to consumers.

Ah, so you not attack this weeks numbers in particular, but VGC-software numbers in total. This wasn't clear from your previous posts. You should elaborate your point more. I understood you that way, that VGC had PS4-software at average at 3M per week, so this week is an outlier. But that you didn't mean.

On average doesnt mean it happens every month, low sales in late spring and summer and higher in the fall and during the winter, that's how it always is. It's a slow period for gaming general and with nothing new released besides Prey on the PS4 reflects that.  There's probably still a good amount of digital sales but selling lesser numbers this period wouldnt be very shocking at all.

Yeah, he put his objections pretty unclear. What he says is, that VGC has software at around half of what Sony has said they sold. Not this week in particular, the complete year.
