The basic 3DS (non-LL) is basically dead by now in Japan

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe over 500k, next week BotW will probably also pass that mark on Media Create. Famitsu has 30k less for both, so it will take a bit longer here.

Yeah, the Japanese dedicated is in very poor shape. It's nice to see Switch being a bright of a bright spark, but we're very quickly going to be in a two-system setup for the region and even if both do exceptionally well (which PS4 isn't), it's going to be lightyears removed from the high years of the PSP/PS3/DS/Wii era.

It is really bad, but there are several titles showing good legs in the top 20. It's a mixed bag.
