I'm gonna take that with a grain of salt. MS has been closing studios and hasn't bought any 3rd party exclusives that I know of in a while. Phil said they are focusing on first party games versus paying for third party exclusive deals about 2 years ago. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/xbox-one-dont-expect-many-more-third-party-exclusi/1100-6429386/

If ms managed to get 3 exclusives from SE, I imagine it would have cost a fortune with the way the market is with the PS4's dominance and switch being a new arrival.

Article is wrong, Amazon only suggests 1 but that could just be something that was already announced for PS4 that's coming to XB1 or it's just inaccurate altogether, anyway updating the title to be more accurate.

i agree with the PS4's dominance part.

 

But the Switch can't really run an new AAA games for the XB1 or PS4, so that will not likely have much to do about it...

But the Switch can't really run an new AAA games for the XB1 or PS4, so that will not likely have much to do about it...

 If they made a AAA game with the switch in mind with the others then the switch would be the bottleneck and would be able to play it. Also, SE would want a game to be on the switch if it had the specs for the console beforehand.

Would they do that again considering how poorly it sold.... its certainly possible i guess... perhaps again used to combat a sony release... but still, it would cost a packet.
