checkerboard 4k is a highly impressive technique that gets extremely close to real 4k image quality, while being much less demanding

personally I'd prefer even next gen consoles just put the additional power into higher framerates instead of gaining a tiny bit of additional image quality by rendering at native 4k

Yeah, I just bought Wipeout Omega, which does just that. I think he means on the so-called AAA games, but any game that targets 60fps on Xbox One OG should absolutely be able to do 60 frames on Scorpio, even if they get bumped up to 4k.

October 13th is a Friday. Not like they can't launch it then, but Friday the 13th being a bad luck superstition makes me think that's not likely. November 13th seems right on the money though.
