I just hope Nintendo doesn't do the same stupid thing and make only a million or two. Same for the SNES Mini.

Idk, would I rather spend $60 on buying a console with 30sh games or $400-$500 on a console with no games? My wallet knows which one I would buy
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I would prefer a SNES-collection for the Switch (or 3DS) over a SNES mini... these old games look much better on a small display than on a normal sized 2017-TV. That's why I also bought other retro games for handhelds instead of home consoles (SEGA Genesis Collection, Capcom Classic Collection, many PS1 games for PSP/Vita and some VC games for 3DS).
So I would buy a Scorpio + 4K TV instead.

You're absolutely right! And I'm with you. I know they're going to give us SNES games at some point but they can keep the console. 30 SNES games for $60 and I'd jump on that deal.
I would buy the Scorpio before a PS4 for Halo. The Super Nintendo Classic mini, I been there and done that.
if I can only pick one and it were free, Scorpio.
played SNES back in the day, while I obviously haven't played a Scorpio.
