It is. The Last of Us thread alone got over 200 comments. The argument from Ninty fans was that NInty remasters make sense because they are of games that are old. If you read the thread, most Ninty fans said the game has to be at least ten years old for the remaster to make sense. And that remastering a game tha came out 1-2 years before, is just [insert insult here]. I find that pretty sad, as that argument was thrown out of the window the second NInty started doing the same.

They probably get shit from Sony fanboys or Microsoft fanboys and vice versa. If they get shit from Nintendo fanboys, that's just sad. The thing with 1st year ports is, it allows for something to be on a relatively new console so that there is time to create new content later down the road. I think a lot of the issues stem from the fact that a lot of companies use this as a simple cash grab without adding any new content and just porting the game over. That's where I think people have issues with ports. Nintendo however is releasing ports with updated free content. And it's not like Nintendo is banking on ports from March to March, they have a ton of new content coming this year. So, I really can't say I agree with giving Nintendo a hard time over ports that add free content just to get the ball rolling.

Wii U remasters are even worse than PS3 remasters, because people bought Wii U for exclusives. By porting those games they sh*t on those people. If you remaster a game from a successful system, then it doesn't really matter how long they take to remaster it. But they should wait at least ten years to remaster exclusives from failed systems, out of respect for those who bought the failed systems.

Mate were you high when you posted this because this is beyond being bitter and becoming silly now? What do you think people also bought the PS3 for to decorate their houses every platform is bought for exclusives.

I don't see why you'd think that. If you got Mario Kart 8 on your WiiU and enjoyed it then why would you get pissed off? I would only get pissed off if the game truned out to be bad.

People bought the PS3 because of its wide variety of games. Same reason PS4 sold very well despite having no noteworthy exclusives until Uncharted 4 or why people buy Xbox One despite having virtually no noteworthy exclusives.

I would get pissed off because I could skip Wii U, buy Switch and get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and not have to double dip. And there is nothing worse than double dipping. What happened to just buy games once? Imagine if people double dipped at the time, Shenmue would actually make a profit...
