Forums - Sony - PS4: 1 In 5 Sold Are PS4 Pros

This should stop the talk of the Pro being a failure but it won't. Somehow people will twist it to make 1 in 5 sound bad.

Edit - VGPolyglot was in pretty quick. I expected at least 10 posts before the doom comments.

Yeah sure, they will announce a ps5 when the ps4 sales are very high, Fuck logic.

They won' annonce ps5 this year, or even next year.

With scorpio it will slow down

So sony has to counter it

They already "countered it" with the marketing deals.

I thought it would be as quiet as a church mouse in a library, wearing mittens while sat on a downy pillow.

59.5-59.9 M is what Sony has sold through..... vgc is at 58 M, underteacked by a lot

As far as I'm aware he asked a neutral question, stop seeing a conflict where there is none.

Way ahead of their expectations? What were they expecting?

Probably less than those people who want to inflate expectations in order to then discredit the sales numbers when they better expectation.

Man, you guys are way too sensitive when it comes to talking about the glorious masters that are Sony. All I was doing was asking a question. It was a genuine question, because I wanted to know what the ratio that they were expecting was. There was no hidden agenda there.

Just nice to have an idea of how it's been doing. Pretty decent.

True, it's easy to stand behind a statement that the product is exceeding expectations, when they didnt release the initial expectations.

However, given we now have a rough figure, and verified stock issues, the sales are undeniably far better than I think most of us expected. It also must be a huge bump to their revenue, given 1/5 is selling for an additonal $100.
