I hope for a something switch related, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was to talk about the new phone game that released.

Around the Network

My guess is that it's probably just about the upcoming Pokemon Go Fire & Ice event that's rumored to start next week.

Oh... oh god. Goodbye Switch stock for the next 2 years if it's Pokémon Stars or a new game.

My thoughts exactly!

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

It's not Nintendo's fault, The Pokémon Company decides when to make such announcements and they've always been keen on announcing games before E3, and during it just showing some gameplay...

I believe Nintendo actually has a controlling interest in the pokemon company tho. They should really flex their muscles in a situation like this.

If memory serves, they have around 30 to 35% stake on the company.Dont know if enough to force their hand like that.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I wonder why they wouldn't just save this until E3, that must mean that there'll be another big announcement saved for that.

Their E3 is already big and amazing enough that they could find room to fit it in? We can only hope!

I don't know if I should get my hopes up... It may be a stupid mobile event.

Pokemon Snap is back

I don't think that announcing it before or after E3 makes that much of a difference.  Sure, it's fun for fans to have it all in one day, but this way they get to announce the game (assuming that's what's happening) when all eyes will be on them and they don't have to shout over other news..  Plus, it serves as a teaser for E3.

Potentially a full announcement for Pokemon Stars, to get it out there in advance of the E3 rush? If so, I'm not really sure why it couldn't wait a week, but there you go!

Me too...

And remember E3 will be focused to switch...

Hmmmm...

3DS?

Personally, If I was Nintendo i would put that game in both platforms! An important system seller for switch and a big game release leveraging the vast install-base of 3DS! Although, it would be better switch first pokemon game to be a major one, i.e the debut of 8th gen ( or remake of 4th gen game ) ,  not a third version of 7th gen for obvious reasons...

Also, maybe it could a Pokken tournament port instead of third version of  7th gen!
