When is this game supposed to be released?

Either August or September, I think.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Very curious about those two blondes.
Anyone know who they are? I don't recognize them.

I'm pretty sure they're new original characters for this game.

Original characters!

OT: Looks really great, love the artstyle. Really enjoyed Hyrule Warriors so very excited about this. I wonder how it'll fare on the New 3DS too.

Ah, so they're this game's Lana and Cia. Though they both appear to be protagonists as opposed to one protagonist and one antagonist. But, cool!

I don't think Dynasty Warriors has ever been that good. Now they are doing crossover titles to keep sales strong. Instead they should just focus on making better DW games.

Maybe the reason they are doing crossovers is because they finally realize that not many people get excited about some random Japanese warrior game and instead people want their favorite ips given the warriors treatment. I, personally, LOVED Hyrule Warriors a TON. That game was an absolute blast and honestly, it had the best cut scenes, dialogue, and overall plot progression maybe in Zelda history prior to it. It actually felt like a war, and not just Link facing an individual enemies on  his way to fight bosses. I loved it!

Hyrule Warriors was one of my favorite games on the Wii U for reasons you mentioned.
And with Fire Emblem, it's even more fitting. My coworkers were trying to figure out what was wrong with me when I was reacting the way I did when the game was revealed in January. XD

It looks great and all, but I have to admit I was kinda hoping they'd take this game as a chance to show off what the Switch can do in terms of something more photo-realistic. I love Nintendo's art styles for their games in general, but would be nice if they did one game more on the realistic graphics side. Maybe we will get that with Metroid or if we get a second Zelda on Switch.

Agreed, Switch is already flooded with cartoon games. It would be nice to have something a bit grittier for the sake of variety.
