FFXV being a mess is an unpopular opinion, so I'm going to take what you say with a grain of salt.

Whether this is heresay or not doesn't change the fact that Square Enix is possibly the most incompetent developer/company when it comes to time tables and schedules. The blame can not be put on one guy, but the whole of the company.

Carl is a Piplup hater and deserves to be punished eternally.

What game did he ruin this time?

It was Britain, it is America, tomorrow France and next year, the world...

Warning: This poster has a very negative opinion of Sony and Nintendo, Idea Factory and companies Tecmo Koei, EA, BioWare, Blizzard, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Kadokawa and Sega. If you have very positive views of these and a negative view of Microsoft or Bethesda Game Studios, AVOID ENGAGEMENT AT ALL COSTS!

Nomura online designed the main characters for FF13, just literally the party members. LOL. He wasn't involved in anything other than that.

I think it has a lot more to do with SE than Nomura. The Japan branch of the company seems to be pretty poor with scheduling and development management in general (FF14 is probably the biggest exception), and they seem to have Nomura working on everything they can get him in-front of. Since 2010 he's been credited in some capacity for 27 games (and that doesn't seem to include some of his musical work). Nomura isn't helping the situation, but he's also clearly a very talented guy. It's not often you see someone with success stories in directing, design, composing, and writing :p

Well, apparently it says that other KH games had cut content too, so it doesn't really sound like it's anything new for the franchise.

Pretty much every video game ever made has cut content. It's just that most times you don't hear about it, especially when many people mis-construe cut content for "the game was rushed" when it can actually happen for a myriad of reasons such as "this game mode just isn't very fun to play".

Yeah, that's true. The main problem is not that they are taking so long to develop it, it's that they annoucned it way too early.

Oh shit, the guy does music too? Can you name some of his works?

    I'm now filled with determination.

Bad character designs are the fault of Nomura. I never said he directed XIII.

Dude, you're using bad character design as part of your argument and have a XCX avy. Probably the ugliest and shittiest character design of any game by Monolift Soft. You have no room to talk, buddy v.v XD

Oh snap! I've not played Xenoblade Chronicles X yet, but I do know those characters are all fuck ugly and the designs and bloody awful... Final Fantasy XIII may not have the best character designs in the franchise, but they're still decent and work well for the game, which I still maintain is actually really good, fuck the haters and all that jazz, lol.

All games have content that does not make it to the final release. Nothing new here.

I guess having to switch from Luminous engine to Unreal 4 slowed down development, but aside from that, the game's development time hasn't really been that abnormally long. Maybe the problem is that they announced it way too soon (though personally that didn't bother me because at that time I was thirsty for a KH3 official announcement). Also, I don't think it's easy for Nomura to direct Square's two biggest projects right now (FF7R and KH3).

I gave up on KH III long time ago, it doesn't take all this time to complete, we are not talking about elder scrolls here, it's just kingdom hearts, just want dragon quest 11 from SE that's all
