Forums - Nintendo - ARMS is 1080p 60 FPS, but drops with 4-player split-screen multiplayer

And what does 4 player split screen multiplayer mean? Like 2 players use 1 switch, the  another 2 players use another switch for a 2 v 2 match?

The situation that you describing is both switch's using 2 player split screen mode each.

4 player split screen happens when a single display  is  splited for 4 players to play. This is a self-explanatory term since the N64 days.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo wouldn't leave such a big decision up to a developer.

They evidently have before, in the case of B2/W2.

OT: Are people actually arguing if this is stable or not? DF has a video blatantly proclaiming it has been stable in all of their testing.

aye didn't they say an hour and a half of footage tested without a dropped frame? was a few days since I watched the video.

Soo a super underpowered system can run games @60fps but a x1/ps4 can't?

Wauw.

I know you're just talking smack, but it would be more effective if you were making a more appropriate comparison; PS4 and XBO have lots of 60fps fighting games.

How many of them are 3D fighters with this level of graphics though?

If you mean 3D rendering, most of them. If you mean 3D movement, I'm not sure why that would matter, but Tekken and Dead or Alive are 2 that immediately come to mind. There are probably more, but I'm not super familiar with fighters.
