Forums - Sales - Dropping Prices....?

And the reason Zelda is still full price is because it is still selling well. Since many people still can't get their hands on the system, good games, even from launch, as still in high enough demand to keep the prices high.

PS3 titles that aren't selling well generally go for low prices. Games like NFL Tour go for $20 on the PS3 on Amazon.

jman8's right. Games don't normally get dropped until they've made their money back (unless they're a complete flop and move straight to clearance).

Maybe, but the average time that used to take was 8 months, according to 2006 numbers. We're getting well past double that into this gen with no sign of price drops. Something has definitely changed.

Solution : buy a PSP . There are tons of games that are at 20$ or even lower , plus the highest price is 40$ :)

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

I've been noticing this to, and it doesn't really make sense. I mean, there are still a few GameCube games I'd like to get, but not for 50 Euros (or dollars, for that matter). That's just an example though, there are tons of games for which by rights they should've never asked full price, let alone years after their release..

Yeah, I'm fine with PC games...they start at $50 and go down to $30 or even $20 within a half year typically.

And people wonder how a PC gamer can afford it.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I whish nintendo added the Players Choice line to the DS this way they can really rake in some more hard cash i mean mario kart DS has been around for two years and they still have it at full price how miuch longer will they wait to add it. I dont want the DS to end like the GBA where it got the PC program all late. I hope they will add it to the Wii too. Even Sony added their budget program (only in japan though)

I still believe for someone who buy games that the PC is cheaper in the long run than a console even if you pay more for the hardware at first. This is even more true if you included mods .
