Forums - Microsoft - I'm just curious - how many have seen a 360 RROD?

apart from the 2 that bought them last week, every person I know who owns a 360 has returned it atleast once with the RRoD, Thats 7 - 8 people I think. I did the xclamp replacement on one of them yesterday too and bought it back to life, not sure how long that will last though.

Within a week or two, I got it but could still play games. And it got worse so I called MS and they sent a coffin and repaired it.

Since I got my 360 fixed, it works great.

That is exactly what happened with mine...I think when it dies the first time, they open it up and put a real band aid on it which falls off after about 10 days...After I ripped the call centre chick a new hole I had my 360 back in about 5 days and it's been working perfectly for the last 1 1/2 years...

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

I seen it twice in my life....

Renar - It's counted per machine not per how many times they break.

I haven't seen it with my very own eyes, but two friends of mine had to send their 360's away because of RROD.

I've seen to many, 5 of my own, several at Walmart, Circuit City, Best Buy, friends houses, EB. EB had to mod it's display case and put in a laptop cooler to keep their 360 from RRODing. lol

I've seen one on my friend's 360 multiple times. The disc tray is a piece of SHIT too (we use the 360 to watch DVD's and often have to deal with it).

Out of about 6 or so friends I can think of with 360's, 2 have had to deal with RROD.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
