There's nothing in the wording that doesn't suggest it isn't pre orders from retailers.

They obviously know that but how would they know the pre order tally in all the individual stores from actual gamers?

I guess it's possible the retailers are passing that on with their shipment requests, for instance "we need at least 500 copies for our stores because we have 400 pre-orders" or something. I don't know what kind of communications take place between publishers and retailers.

But I suppose they probably mean shipment orders. *shrug*

The terminology is a little weird though. Why would a publisher call their initial shipment to retailers "pre" orders? Wouldn't those just be... orders? Orders from retailers. "Pre" what?

Maybe it's just a translation hiccup.

Because retailers make their pre orders to help guarantee they get enough stock when shipments are sent out.

So much for nintendo not having good third party sales.

I don't think people were talking about Japanese Third-Parties when they made that claim.

Hey so can someone explain what this game is like? I honestly knew nothing about it until watching that trailer but from the looks of it is it like Fire Emblem/Advanced Wars or something else in how it plays?

They're probably the closest I can think of, FF Tactics would be quite close too, I'd go into more depth but I've not played nearly enough to comment. I just really didn't like the tone/writing and stopped playing, I think I played Disgaea 3 on 3DS.

But if you're ok with a douchebag main character and constant cheesy jokes and campiness then you might enjoy it if you like tactics type games. Though maybe the tone of the series is different in other titles idk.

Disgaea is nothing like Fire emblem or fftactics.

It's special, it's a tactical series on his own, based on the power-up of characters.

most people know it’s truth, but doing it in every thread is still spamming
