As PS4 is selling between 800K and 1million a week, with 3 weeks to go, including Xmas sales, It has to surpass 21million by year end. Maybe sneak up on 22million. Crazy numbers for sure, but looks possible. And Sony didn't even need to heavily discount the Pro to stave off the Xbox One X "hype".

Sony already announce 2017 year end sales... it did 3M in December and 20.2M on 2017.

Hardware adjustments have been made. Weeks 48 and 49 have been adjusted down to match the figures revealed yesterday to meet Sony's 73.6 million lifetime sales and 20.2 million sales for 2017.

Just to make a prediction, I think we'll see either 900k - 1 million for week 51 (Christmas week) and either 400-500k for week 52 (New Year's).

Well, we can officially confirm that 2016 was far from PS4’s peak year, and with the 2018 software lineup, it’s likely 2017 won’t be either. If the next CoD turns out to be BO4 and Sony still has the marketing rights, that will definitely add some sales as well.

Ah I missed that. Still nearly 74 million all sold, isn't bad at all. Hopefully lost to 100million next year.

Wow, nearly 6 million during the holiday period alone - https://wccftech.com/sony-ps4-sales-holiday/ !
Incredible!

If PS4 can keep the average of outside holiday of 2017 into 2018 and then do the deals and etc to generate the usual holiday bump 2018 can be a big spike.
