It's possible that it may gradually scratch the screen. There's some pretty easy solutions though:

-Put a Screen Protector on it (probably a good idea regardless)
-Stick a little felt inside the dock or get one of those cool dock covers (I got three myself lol, the designs are great)

Here's a great video that breaks down the Switch to investigate how durable it is, he does this for most smartphones and such:

As you can see, the screen is definitely quality but it's also prone to scratching as it's plastic rather than the more common among tablets glass (despite actually looking like glass in the hand). They made that decision not only for affordability reasons but also because it's no where near as prone to the screen cracking that you see on so many people's phones.

Basically, then, I'd highly recommend a screen cover. It's a great screen, but it's also scratchable... I haven't seen much evidence that scratching in the docks is common whatsoever, but it may happen over time.

Exactly, the plastic was chosen because they wanted shatter proof but didn't want to go with the much more expensive shatter resistant glass, which would have been scratch resistant as well but also significantly more costly.

A propper dock used as instructed should not result in any appreciable damage to the screen.  However, impropper use or a defect on the dock rails could make this possible.  I do, I think, have a very, very mild scratch.  It's invisible to the naked eye unless held at a specific angle under a light source and can't be felt by touch.  But it is there and I think it happened when I undocked it in a slight hurry.  However, if a bump was on the rail - this being a manufacturing defect - the odds could be much higher and potential scratches worse.  However, worth noting is that this is precisely the reason the Switch has that black trim around the actual screen part of the "screen".  Any potential damage, however unlikely, to be had from docking would occurr there, away from the actual display.

As for how I like my Switch, I think it's great.  Good build quality, nice display, portability works great, the transition from handheld mode to home console mode is seamless and brilliantly done, and the Joy-Con are a great controller solution and provide a good controller out of the box in all configurations.  Even got use out of the table-top mode two player splitscreen with the Joy-Con acting as individual controllers, though there's a limit to what you can comfortably do there.

For games, I have Zelda which is fantastic, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which is great, FAST RMX which is really good, Blaster Master Zero which is really good (and a good deal), Wonder Boy and the Dragon Trap which I enjoyed, and Snake Pass which is a very unique experience.  I like all of these games, but I most recommend the first four and definitely the first 3.

I haven't really been taken it and putting it on the dock much since I mostly play it as a handheld. But nothing wrong with the screen so far.

What are you playing? Finished Zelda?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I put the foam that the dock was wrapped in front of the screen when I dock it just to be 100% safe!

No, it doesn't scratch the screen. I'm constantly switching between handheld and tv mode, no scratches are yet to be seen and I don't expect any. I'm not even all that careful when (un)docking it, I just do it. This is just a false myth, imo.

Games I own are Zelda, 1-2 Switch, Super Bomberman R, Blaster Master Zero, Snipperclips and Wonder Boy.

It probably just happens when you are careless with the dock

I don't know, but just for prevention you could purchase a tempered screen for 7-9 dollars and that's it.

And that's how you get your Switch scratched. It adds a millimeter or so to the screen and the back of the system will get scratched in the Dock. Not because it's bent, but because the Switch itself is now thicker and the dock is shaped to hold it securely so it doesn't move around and get damaged inside.

Docks don't scratch screens. People scratch screens.
