No, it doesn't scratch the screen. I'm constantly switching between handheld and tv mode, no scratches are yet to be seen and I don't expect any. I'm not even all that careful when (un)docking it, I just do it. This is just a false myth, imo.
Games I own are Zelda, 1-2 Switch, Super Bomberman R, Blaster Master Zero, Snipperclips and Wonder Boy.
