What if it takes as much as me being good in Splatoon?

By that time Nintendo will have released plenty of Nintendo games on other consoles already, so no point thinking about the library, you can just go for those instead.

Ok.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

That will generate some monster profits for Nintendo, considering how, relatively, little time they had to put in porting that game.

Lol. The Switch has now launched with a likely GotY contender and followed it up with another grand slam.

And people are still critical that it didn't launch with gems like Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin's Creed 9, Angry Birds Star Wars, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Madden 25.

impressive.
So, maybe we can see more rematers. time for hyrule warriors deluxe/2, with BotW content, xenoblade x, bayonetta, DKC and smash bros.

This should be taken as a sign of how much the Wii U sucked. Clearly, people want Mario Kart 8. But the Wii U... nope.

I would agree if not for the fact that GTA 5, TLOU etc. did so well. Clearly, for whatever reason, people aren't capable of NOT buying the same thing twice.

I'm one of those people that, unless you're emotionally or physically harming someone else, thinks that you should be able to do whatever it is that you enjoy. But for ME? I don't enjoy ports. I don't like them. I don't support them. I like new games and I would rather these studios focus on things like BOTW and Mario Odyssey and stop wasting resources on games I already played into the ground.

Even if you didn't have the original hardware? You'd say "Get your filthy port off of my console, you filthy apple biter!" Instead of enjoying the game you missed?

No, is not. Maybe for you. But there is now 2 games in a road to sell 1M each. So you are wrong anyway

Yes and the 2nd is Mario Kart.

Launch games selling 1 million means nothing just look at ridge racer. The claim that super bomberman is pushing units is baffling, if it was a system seller then it would have not had a 7 year hiatus.

I never said Bomberman is a system seller. YOU said Switch has only Mario Kart and Zelda.  And is not true.

We have more data now:

Neo Geo classics-200,000

Snipperclips-350,000

Bomberman-500,000

Don't forget 1 2 Switch is close to a million. (Or rather was, at the end of March. It's probably over 1 mil by now.)

I skipped out on some Wii U games. I'd happily get them if it means I can experience it on the go- I'm sure many other people would agree.

Nintendo would benefit from releasing games which weren't big-budget games/ports. Something as simple as DKC for $40 or whatnot would probably help them, especially during times where the lineup seems weak

MK8D becomes the NS' second million seller, possibly all in one day.
