It rings true around my area. Still haven't been able to find one. I check 2-3x a week at Gamestop, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R Us. I give up, I refuse to order one on Amazon for a ridiculous price. I may skip the console, so much time wasted trying to find one.

What about importing one? It is readily available through most of Europe.

April NPD will be interesting. ;)

I think they've handled their launch window very well by spacing out the games. Despite some people complaining about the lack of software, they're releasing 4 big sellers (MK, Zelda, Odyssey, Splatoon) along with 4-5 smaller hits this year which isn't common for a console's first year. Third parties will certainly be interested now

Thats fair enough, but Im sure several other people will use the shortages as an excuse if the Switch doesnt win. 

If it doesnt ship enough then the fault is from nintendo. That said lets say if it doesnt win becuase ps4 beat it but both sold 400k+, then lawlight will still be wrong :p

I don't think we have to worry about this game being sold out, the Target where I went and got the game at had like 50+ copies! There coulda been more in the actual electronics section of the store, but I didn't even need to go back there since they had a nice set-up at the front of the store to pick it up from.
