Forums - Gaming - Call of Duty: WWII revealed - November 3rd

The reveal was horrible.

This looked really ... boring. Honestly, I don't get people. It's like nobody realizes that just pandering to a specific audience doesn't make a game great. As bad as the modern call of duties are, it's not entirely down to their aesthetic or movement.

Though, I do prefer Boots on the ground gameplay, so I suppose the multiplayer could be better than recent releases, but we'll have to see.

Looks like every other WWII game. It's good to have one after all this time, but I feel like I've played this countless times before.

No Eastern Front? No Nazi vs Soviet?

It's only the best front in WW2...

Buying it day 1

Looks decent. Although it will probably be another version of the same game, it might be not too bad.

Looks amazing! Definitely going to buy this one, I really hope that they will go back to the roots with the multiplayer too. If that's the case then this one could be the best Call of Duty since a while!

It just kind of looks like every other WWII game I've played. Then again, the IW trailer looked generic and uninspired and the campaign turned out to be spectacular. So maybe there's something there, buried under the cliches.

Normandy mission like COD2

Tank sitting missions like CODIII

I swear it looks like it had also the quick time event 'beat a Nazi up close'

And could go on, it is just *updated*

nah I certainly prefer the Western Front, but my favourite would be Pacific.
