So? They werent on air, so he probably thought they werent recording. Not really like yelling it to a bunch of people now is it?

"The Microphone isn't on" is the EXACT SAME as "no one around is listening".

They are both based on stupitiy and poor reasoning.

"I'm not on the air" is the same as "they are watching the baseball game".

You in essence want to excuse sexist behavior (that Fox news is using as a great example of what NOT to do and say) because he was too stupid to realize "hey this microphone may be on".

So he thought nobody heard him. If you think that makes him an idiot, then so be it.

Do you really not see the difference between someone clearly making a joke in a setting designed specifically for making jokes, and talking about how you like to sexually harass women to someone you barely know?

So if you tell the same joke to one person, you are guilty of it? Saying something isnt the same as doing it. If it is then someone should question Robert De Niro for wanting to punch Trump in the face. Its illegal to punch the president in the face after all. So if Trump hasnt done it, then he must have been joking.

You're fucking with us, right? You really think that because a man with a long and storied history of being inappropriate with and around women (much of it self proclaimed) didn't provide physical evidence of him being inappropriate with women while bragging about it that he must have been joking?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

If you can show me a time where a woman said that he grabbed her by the pussy and started kissing her randomly, then by all means. Educate me.

Several women did come out. A porn actress also said he tried to pay her for sex. Of course these all get swept under the rug though, it's very hard to prove some one groped your genitals unless you video taped them doing it and probably a lot of women don't want to come forward because all you're going to get is public ridicule.

I don't know him, but this sounds like a typical overreaction. I mean, if he gets convicted, sure, fire him, but until the judgement is made, the proper course of action would probably be more along the lines of simply freezing his career.

They're reportedly paid $13 million in past sexual assualt settlements involving O'Reilly. I don't know if it's a "overreaction". How many times would you be able to harrass people at your work and still keep your job?

Has he been convicted? No? Then he should keep his job. Innocent until proven guilty and all that stuff, you know.

Should Bill Cosby get a TV show too?

Corporate advertisers aren't a court of law either, if they don't want to advertise because you have the stink of sexual assualt around you as a TV personality, there's no law saying they have to give you the benefit of the doubt.

And that's why O'Reilly got fired. Not because Fox probably knows damn well he's been harrassing women for years now. It's because advertisers don't want to be associated with that and they don't want to lose advertisers.

I know. We also have to remember that hes a billionaire though. So people will try and take advantage of that. Not saying he has never done anything or that the women are lying, but if everything he does gets swept under the rug, then we probably wont know what he has done.

Well that's the double standard that's applied. You say you want women to come out, but if they do then the narrative becomes "well they're just trying to take him for money". Those women can't win either way.

Luckily the jack ass got caught on tape voicing his real opinions, and all that bullshit about "locker room talk" ... I was a jock growing up still play organized sports with 2-3x a week, lift weights 4-5x a week ... that shit that Trump said was creepy even by "locker room" standards. You don't joke about groping women's vaginas without constent, that's just fucked up.

Watched his show a couple times. He seems like a dick.
