This is my thinking exactly, I'm really impressed by a re-release of the same game on the next gen machine to get anywhere close to the same scores as the Wii-U game, 35/40 doesn't change my day one purchase of this game.

we basically seen everything that is in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Mario Kart 8.

Is like saying TP HD on Wii U should have got higher score than TP on Wii.

Not from what I've heard/seen. It's got a new graphical overhaul, and they added 1 new character

Wonder Girl

But that's about it. Still looks great though.

It was one of the best franchises on the Master System, it wasn't exclusive and the first game (which is wildly different from the rest) always had an arcade version, but yeah, it was one of the franchises we that grew with one used to like a lot.

The first game was also remade very recently for current systems as well.

Oh. I knew about that. I played it and Alex The Kid on a Master System. But I assumed the name similarity was just a coincidence.
Well now I'm interested in this game. Gonna look it up.

There is no game called Alex The Kid. His name is Alex Kidd.

They still cannot quench my thirst for that Wonder Boy remake. Although, it does worry me a bit because Famitsu has a tendency of overrating things. So a Famitsu 7 could translate to a 6 in other places.

Not to mention that the bar gets higher. What was ok then is judged harsher.
