Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Switch : ARMS – updated character profiles

At the end of last week, we posted several character profiles for ARMS. The game’s Japanese website provided additional information on Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Ninjara, Master Mummy, Min Min, and Mechanica.

We took a look at the overviews ourselves, and noticed that there was some extra information not included in the original translation. Continue on below for the complete character profiles

Spring Man

Acts like a goofball, but he’s no joke in the ring.
His indomitable spirit keeps him in a constantly charged state while he’s in a pinch, as he aims for the reigning champion’s belt!

Master Mummy

 Affiliation: Mummy Hospital*
Height: 7’6”
Weight: 368lbs
Age: ??
Favorite things: My family (they’re missing…)

This bulky bruiser is bound by bandages!
His muscular un-mummy-like physique means he won’t be pushed around by his opponents’ paltry punches!

Height: 5’5”
Weight: I’m on a diet…
Age: 18
Favorite Things: My mother’s ramen

Around the Network

This game can be an e-sport, aparently it need a lot of strategy.

34 years playing games.

Arms is definitely something I am more excited about than I was initially, think it has the potential to do really well (especially a constant flow of DLC like with Splatoon).

I also like that from now on, whenever someone googles 'arms' they're gonna see this;

ARMS definitely has potential, but it needs more.
For me, 6 characters is not enough.

The Mechanica bit makes a lot of sense. i noticed that she's the only one without Spiral eyes

4 additional characters got leaked that were seen in the ARMS UI screen during the direct footage;

There's at least 10

I think it'd be neat if there was a robot one with piston arms

And the main bulk of the game is the arms itself.

10characters

12 Arms (minimum)

x2 (each side).

Already 240 combinations. Combine this elements with how stages play out and bammm!

For example ribbon girl looks to be very good on her own stage but as well on springmans due to her having an extra jump. Its going to be crazy

Ehh. I still think 10 is just a liiiittle bit on the short side.
12 would be nice.
Ultimately, it'll depend on how much content they put in and how much of a marketing push this game receives.
This game is releasing the day after E3 ends.
