100% agree with Forbes, if this is as popular as a console as the Wii (which had a portable with it) this would sell more killing the 3DS. Not to mention how easy it would be to first port over Pokemon Sun and Moon (or make Pokemon game AKA Crystal or Yellow). Then to make a brand new one within that them and eventually make the first real 3D pokemon game. Also can take into account Fire Emblem series, Monster Hunter (If Capcom's on board), Bravely Default, and tons of titles that can be recreated or ported over.

Nintendo is the best. David Jaffe is still f****** amazing though.

I don't really mind the 3DS being kept around a bit longer. Keep it for kids and cheapo parents, I really don't care. Give it a bunch of Kirby games, ok fine.

My gripe though is when the 3DS is keeping major software away from the Switch, like for instance if DQXI is coming to 3DS first before the Switch, I have a problem with that, because the Switch could really use that game.

Or all those Monster Hunter games, I don't see why they can't be on Switch in HD.

Yeah, but its Nintendo, so they might ditch the Switch in favor of the 3DS for all we know...

I have no idea what the article says but I hope people aren't assuming the Switch will pick up all 3DS users. I think they'd lose some to smart-phones because of the price and decreased portability of the Switch.

I wouldn't call it shitty. I've taken it on plane trips, to work, etc. ~3hrs is actually pretty good considering I can charge it between sessions easily. Not to say 6, 12 or 20 hours wouldnt' be better of course.

Lets also put some context into the "3DS is selling well" ... it's shipping like 6 million a year. That's not exactly anything to throw a party over. It's doing ok, "ok" like a 75 year old that's still able to walk around and do stuff, yeah great, but it's not exactly lifting any heavy weight.
