$10 off and you get a switch! Seems like a true bundle to me xD

I dunno why you even think this will happen. I hope your joking cuz this is never going to happen. Even with 2 of those 3 games anytime soon (if not ever)

Nintendo could make a killing if this is true and it is priced correctly. The best would be at 300, obviously, but I think it could have similar effect at 330.(so you save 30 dollars if you buy them separetely)I can see this lower price point, simply because Nintendo already made their money back with the Wii U version, and can afford to earn a bit less per unit with MK8 Deluxe.
Here is me hoping this is true.

Strange to have a bundle this early while the Switch is still selling out. I suppose they really wanna make sure momentum is maintained. This better not be the only bundle come the holidays though or it will be a Wii U scenario for me all over again.

A Wii U scenario... just for you?

Yeah a big reason why I waited so long before getting a Wii U is because the bundled games didn't do it for me. A game I essentially already have on 3DS, a remake of a game I've played already, and a tech demo were my only options, so naturally I'd just wait until they bundled something I really wanted. I still ending up buying the NSMB bundle but only because it and some games were on sale and MK8 was about to release.
If this is true, they probably had the bundle planned for day 1, but Mario Kart wasn't ready for that date, then decided to launch early March because they wanted to sell some initial stock before the fiscal year ending (March 31st).
So it was likely supposed to be $299.99 base version/$349.99 bundle w/Mario Kart (basically same pricing as the Wii U).
It's also likely a fat profit maker for Nintendo as Mario Kart 8 is effectively a game that Nintendo re-couped all development costs on ages ago, so they're just basically taking an old game they already made money off of, installing into the Switch's on-board flash memory and charging $50 more for it. It's like $50 straight up profit for them. It's actual pretty brilliant, profit wise.

It will be the same reasoning that Nintendo will make when they make a good bundle for holidays(either that or a price cut only for black friday)(and thats only my reasoning of course):
They need to keep momentum. And they simply cant afford to make a mistake, to wait for the Switch to "die down" for it to start making deals and bundles and good offers.Nintendo needs to be pro-active, and they know it.Hopefully this bundle is true and comes at a good price.

I still think that it would be a wiser decision, and one that i think that nintendo will take, to price the bundle at 330.As you said, they already couped with all development costs with the original version, and Nintendo cant slack off on this. And assuming that Nintendo has enough stock, a bundle at 330 could sway alot of buyers that are on the fence.
