Forums - Gaming - Switch has sold 1.5m units (Superdata)

Hmm, I figured they would have sold all 2M. I guess there are some regions where the interest isn't quite so high. Well, at least Nintendo will know for the next shipment, so selling completely out shouldn't be too much of a problem in regions with more demand.

They probably havnt shipped all 2m yet.

They planned to have shipped a total of 2m by the end of march, that was their goal. Not 2m at launch date.

That suggests that everything they make, they are shipping as they can, when ready.

If they hit the goals they set, they should have made & shipped 2m+ by end of March though.

20,000 units were sold in Mexico so it was a great start for the Switch here!

happy nintendo had a good opener! But also secretly sad i wont be able to play mario and donkey kong on my xbox one in the future. i was kinda hoping they become 3rd party game maker if the switch fails.

I hate being forced into a system for a handful of games. but switch might do that to me in 4-5 years. I swear ninty would make way more money just making games for ps4,x1,pc. i have a x1 and strong pc. r9 390x.

I would LOVE Nintendo's games on PC.

Breath of the Wild on PC... Damn.

Its possible through Emulation of the Wii U:  You can play Zelda BoTW start to finish on PC already I believe.

Can someone explain to me how the Switch has been in the Top 20 on Amazon for the past few days when it's sold out?

How's the framerate? Last time I heard about it, the game still struggles with maintaining a stable framerate on CEMU.

People are running 4k and 60fps with dips occasionally, if they have monster pc systems.

However theres a few bugs... like you dont swim, you run underwater ect :p

give it a month or two more and it ll probably be running as good as the Switch version.

Those swedish programmers behinde Cemu are crazy fast at this emu stuff.

That patreon thingy they did, I think their doing it as a full time job now, constantly doing newer versions of the emulator with fix'es.

It's not enough to just emulate. I need a modding scene to crop up and a Princess Mononoke skin pack. Horses replaced with wolves and such.

Mexico is kicking bRAZIL´s ass. We don´t even have it officially, only in the black market.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

2 million for the month is realistic.
Sales seem slightly ahead of the wiiu.

WiiU sold 800,000 at launch during HOLIDAY SEASON, i'd say Switch is very far ahead of the wiiu since Switch launched in March
