Yeah man, I was fooled into pre-ordering it the moment Bestbuy had it up in January because the fake media told me a month later that pre-orders were running out, mind blown. If the switch's numbers are manufactured, who's to say this is the first console to do so? We might very well been lied about sales since the very beginning. Maybe it's all been a conspiracy to push "low selling consoles" out of the market like Atari and Sega. Maybe Nintendo is giving us a hint to fight the system.

So you're basically saying that when a console is launched, it's going to be sold out anyway, so why not manufacture as many as possible so everything sounds even better than usually?

Sure, it's possible. But it doesn't sound like something anyone would want to do. If the sales drop soon after, what then? It's not good publicity if sales drop much more than usually after launch. I don't think you're on the right tracks here.

Meh..... I think nintendo bought back 1M of their switch stock to ensure there is scarcity. But to ensure the desired effect they paid off 1M people in addition to giving them the money to actually buy the console to go get them.

oh... andBotW was actually a wii game, they the waited until the switch because someone messed up the copyright filing.... true story.
