Forums - Nintendo - So Uh Tomb Raider 2013 Is On Shield Console .... Switch Port?

Tomb Raider (2013) apparently has been ported to the Shield Console, which is basically the same chipset as the Nintendo Switch (Tegra X1). It's $15 for Shield and runs at 720p and came out a couple of days ago.

A port to Switch would be simple I guess, though they'd have to make a undocked version I guess. Would anyone be interested in this?

I don't think it wouldn't lure anyone who primarily games on an Xbox or PlayStation. if Zelda botw runs at 900p( at best) that game is going run a little better if they use the 360 version. Third party ports of larger AAA games are going to chug on the switch. I'm thinking it's going to be similar with skyrim. It will be the last gen version with slight increases in graphical capabilities because the switch isn't that far away from the Wii U in power.

its a last gen game, skyrim also runs on the switch im sure its possible

Well we already know that, it already runs on a Tegra X1.

Is Tomb Raider a game that would be great on the go?

I'm still waiting for the footage. Many are still skeptical about whether it's the last gen or the hd remaster.

Does anyone on this board even own a Shield console? lol

Uncharted was on the go so I don't see why a similar game couldn't have some appeal as long as it was new.

I wouldn't mind Doom 3 BFG on Switch either ... that's on Shield Console (Tegra X1) too already, so it would be an easy port.

I never played Golden Abyss. So it was pretty much the same as the console versions?
