Not looking very good for Nintendo. Obviosuly we don't have numbers for the US to conpare to but selling less than the PS4, a console, in Japan points to the Switch selling even less than the 3DS.

How exatly fact that "Switch outsold any console launch in Nintendo's history in its first two days" not looking very good for Nintendo, when US strongest Nintendo market where usualy goes more than 50% of all Nintendo sales!?

Just for the record, Switch in Japan was outsold, that means that Switch didn't could go above this numbers because of stock.

And how many units is that? We know the Wii didn't sell all that much in the first 8 days averaging 75,000 units a day over that period. Wii U average 57,000 over the first 7 days. Same thing with the 3DS.

So, all facts point to Nintendo hardware not rushing out of the door so this does not mean much.

Fairly sure the PS4 sold out too:

Well it did sell similar to Wii U in Japan, soooo...not sure if you should be breaking out the champagne yet.

It did similar like Wii U at holiday season and actualy Switch was outsold at Japan and US, thats huge difference. In UK done double numbers than Wii U did at holiday season, and in US beat even what We done in holiday season. All thats combine is huge difrence compared to Wii U numbers for now.

LAUNCH.

So lower than any nintendo handhelds in japan? Too early to deduct anything but the current data doesnt seem to favor this hybrid idea

In any case it's better than what done best selling Nintendo console in history (Wii with 100m) at holiday season. How you can say that is "not looking very good for Nintendo"!? I dont understant how you can see anuthing negative there when its obvious its huge postive thing.

Sources saying that Wii sold 400k in two days at holiday season, so Switch sold more than that in March and it was outsold.

Can I see a source for the Wii selling 400k in the first 2 days?

Yes, Wii U had launch at holiday season, time of year when people are much easier spending their money.
