Forums - Nintendo - Yacht Club: Switch is an incredibly easy system to develop for, even compared to other consoles.

But the big question is if it is powerful enough to run the AAA games?

Can it run minecraft in 144p/30 fps tho?

Even the PS Vita does Minecraft @720x408 upscaled to 960x544.

With the Switch getting a 720p (portable) and 1080p (docked) should be possible.

I think maybe you ment 1440p? but forgot a 0?

You know where to look for those.

Well, I'm not that impressed that they got a non-demanding multi-platform 8-bit styled game also running on a Tegra-SoC without a hassle.

Would have been great if someone ported a proper AAA game to the switch and said how easy it was, obviously its easier to port shovel knight to a more powerfull system, does not say much.

Lets see how STEEP turns out compared to xbox one and ps4

Switch will have a huge indie scene

You know games aren't all about graphics right, it's the game play that should be king?

When you have CEOs complaining about the cost of games due to the rush for graphics at some point you have to step back and say enough is enough.

As I've said before, nobody hates Pixar films because they don't look realistic.
