I've found Gen 8 to be really fun, though my main issue is that prices for games and consoles are just going up and up D:

games have been 60 bucks since like the N64. Now if you do the season's pass thing I get why the cost would be higher, but you are also getting more time out of the game. N64 games were 60 bucks and online did not exist yet, so there were just a few game that offered "infinite" replay if you had a few friends or siblings that you could play with (Mario Kart, Goldeneye, etc)

yeah if you also consider inflation, games and gaming as a whole at its base prices (consoles and retail games) are actually cheaper than they've ever been. It's no wonder there's so much supplementary shit to spend money on now, whether its loot boxes, service subscriptions, season passes...

sigh, why do I even play games...

No thanks. I would play zelda and horizon but those are def not enough to make it a great month!

Nah, not really.

I know it's a little off the month but i think Resident evil 7 was really great

Can't wait to get to it when I have a little time. Very pleased to hear that the series lives on in a good direction!

We also got Gravity Rush 2 + Nier + Persona 5 + KH2.8 + Kh 2.5 master pack + Mass Effect + so much more on the way!

PSn - greencactaur
Nintendo Switch FC - SW - 5152 - 6393 - 5140 Please feel free to add me :)

It would be a fun exercise to locate the best month of every generation :)

Zelda, Horizon, Nier, Nioh, RE7, Yakuza, Torment, already one of the best Q1's ever. :)

I was a little bit sceptical when i heard it was in first person perspective but it turn out to be really really great. My only minor complaints are that puzzles are easy and pretty straight forward (i wish they were more like the "Happy Birthday" tape) and i'd rather have Zombie-Infected human enemies than the gooey enemies.

As with FF15, expecting a masterpiece was probably a bit much, and while I'm sure I won't love everything in RE7, I'm happy it's making the series matter again. It really did seem like it was heading for obscurity.
