Forums - Nintendo - NSFW: The innards of those expensive Joy-Cons

It still doesn't have a triangle button though. Anyway the battery seems big enough for 20 hours of playtime so that's a good sign.

It does have a slingshot ( Y ) button in its place.

Why mention a triangle button? Have I missed something. Who cares about a triangle on a button. Analogue triggers add massively to the feel of games, improve control and make games more immersive and realistic but I can't see what a triangle button would add. It's like removing all vibration feedback and comparing it to a missing circle button.

Like the icecubes this is also an inside joke on vgchartz.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

That looks quite sexy even though it doesn't have any balls........

The ice cube joke has been well used looking at other forums. The triangle button seems to be exclusive to vgchartz  and an attempt at trying to indicate sony fans are criticising the Switch for no reason even for the lack of sony format buttons. Unless there really was someone complaining about the lack of sony layout buttons on a Nintendo device but surely not.

Whatever it will be interesting to see a break down of the tech inside the joy-con later on and a realistic costing based on it.

Shame that they chickened out on actually taking them apart, they just popped the back off. Still nice to see the batteries and easy replaceability though.

See those white blocks that are at the bottom of the Joy-Cons? Those are the linear actuators. Back on December 18th, I posted a thread theorizing that the Joy-Cons would have HD Rumble. The videos in the OP of the thread show how they can be used to simulate different feelings. The patent shows how they work.

Yeah, it literally has plus and minus shaped buttons... now those are cool!

Tito trolling as usual. Calling the Joy-Cons expensive, nice. That's better than the NSFW warning.

I don't know what you are talking about.
