Was anyone expecting (or even wanting) this? I kind of feel like we'll be lucky to get FF7 remake this generation as it is.

Hell yess, Crisis Core is awesomes

They don`t need to do much... They just need to release them as HD remaster, with native 1080p (or 4k for PS4 Pro), 60 FPS and loads of anti-aliasing and filters. Just like they did with FF X on PS4 ( but this game is just 30 fps).

Hell, Crisis Core could even have been ported easily to the PS2 if they wanted to, porting it to PS4 should be very, very easy.

They wont do a simple HD remaster of a spinoff because it would cheapen the feel of the Remake. People will go "was this it"?

I wish they'd give Crisis Core the same treatmant as Type-0 with updated controls. Put in a demo for Remake Part 1 and people will buy it.

Personally I wish for a Crisis Core remaster. That game was amazing and deserves it moreso than FFXII that nobody asked for -_-

Tecnically no one asked for FFXHD either but we got it and many enjoyed it. You might not want one of the better FF games remastered but a lot of us do. Personally, I'd prefer the main series games to have remaster remakes than spinoffs.

Hmm, pie.

I'll be surprised if the entire ff7 is still on this gen. SE has zero faith in my for their timelines, there is no way I would expect that if they even attempted to tackle any of the spinoffs, that they would make the ps4 gen.

Best news I heard about this project, hopefully nothing from the expanded universe makes it into the game, including "Hello Darkness My Only Friend Cloud".

Lol, no one was asking for a remake of those b-list games, a HD collection would have been nice. The important information is how different he expects FFVIIR to be compared to the original.

to be fair, we have known for a while that FF7R would deviate from the source material. ITs actually why Nomura is doing the remake, so that it will be different.

i recall him saying in an interview that if you wanted the original FF7 then just go buy it and play it. upgraded graphics for the same game doesnt interest him.

Which I think is great... I want a new perspective on the material.

I beg to differ here... I think it they just updated the textures and made everything rendered in real time it would have been more than enough. Like Crash new remake. Maybe voice acting.

S-E loves to reveals their games way too soon...

Vaporware.

Good. Stay away from Crisis Core, don't want them to mess it up somehow. Dirge of Cerberus...I don't think many will miss that one, even if I personally enjoyed it.

I'd be fine with a PSP digital release of Crisis Core to play on my Vita.
