If they are continuing with the dual screen then it will be hard for the Switch. Or impossible

Not undoable with buttons. Just assign each colum with a button. Be basically how you play guitar hero with a controller. Clearly would not be as fun, but doable. But i'm completely fine with a game like that being strickly tablet mode. |
Well, I didn't say it was impossible, just difficult. There is also the matter of pressing and dragging buttons to the left or right as well as scrolling your finger on the white buttons that make lines, which is why in the end I think they went with a portable only route.

You should never trust a VGC thread only by what is on the title or the Op, read deeper into the thread and you'll see how this affects nothing.

So you can play the game on the TV with a pro controller?

Voez no, the other 100 Switch games that we know yes.
You see, Voez was a mobile/tablet game which mechanics are tied to touch controls and since you can use touch controls with Switch in portable mode, this developers can put it there, which this means is that mobile games that require touch controls to be fun can also be ported and playable on the Switch since there is no obligation to translate those controls into a TV mode with a normal gamepad, so this just means more games.
Watch Voez for yourself and you'll understand what kind of games would need to be portable only:

It might be a great game, but the Switch is not a hybrid now. Its a handheld that can play most of the games on a TV.
