If anything, if this is within "common" class of items you can fish out of ocean, it inflates N64's popularity, right?
Does anybody believe a N64 stuck on ocean floor thru global apocalypse would still function and not be "junk"?
So what is offensive about being able to fish it up ? I believe it was a tribute that was misinterpreted by insecure fanboys.
That the dev was compelled to delete the item shows how high up that insecurity goes in Nintendo.
