Going to have to try this out on my buddy's Wii U when he gets it. Though, I don't like the idea of destructible weapons. They're not a bad concept, but almost every game I have played with them sets their endurance way too low. And someone earlier mentioned they seem to have done it here, too. Pretty annoying when a perfectly good sword doesn't last quite a few battles before becoming worn and then breaking.

True. Annoying in Dark Souls when youre in the middle of a fight and your weapon breaks. Looks like you can at least pause in Zelda though I think.

Yea.  I think the first game I ever played with destructible weapons was Shadow Tower for the PS1.  God, it pissed me off so much after finding what looked like a perfectly good sword it would be near breaking after killing like 2-3 enemies.  Especially after playing King's Field, which was made by the same people but didn't have weapons that broke.

Kind of a tangent, but I really wish they would remake the King's Field series.  It was great.

Someone PLEASE make a guess the metacritic score for this game thread!!! Because honestly, this could be the highest rated modern game since GTAIV and GTAV - 98 and 97 respectively!!!

Could this game score as high as OoT's 99??? Yikes....

This sucks, because if I get a switch I know this is likely the only game I'd want it for. I mean, I remember buying the gamecube for RE4 and Zelda: TP and then not long after getting rid of the GC because I only really had just two games for it. It really, REALLY sucks to have to miss out on BotW. I'm gonna have to wait until the console goes really cheap just like I did with the GC (getting it for just over a $100 with RE4).
