Not renewing for now so. Don't care about Evolve or Heavy Weapon (my signature ends March 1st).

Off topic: People who have downloaded Borderlands in 27th October, do you still have access to the game? In that time, I just downloaded it and never play it. Searched about it now and it seems it was a promotion not an error (before I downloaded it, the rumor was that it was an error).

If it's an Xbox One game, you'll lose access to it even after you downloaded/installed it until you resubscribe. If it's an Xbox 360 game, you'll still be able to keep and play it even if your subscription expires

XOne game. At that time, it just appeared as free to download (not related to Gold). So, it's certain that I don't have access to it right now.

It's free to play on PC.

Ah, ok. I remember seeing it on Steam a little while back and it saying free.

Why would they only go free to play on PC though? Figured it was like that for everything.

The game flopped so they went F2P on PC and they were planning on releassing F2P versions on consoles but i think something happened that that didnt happen.

Yeah, I know the game flopped. I also saw all the shit with all the huge amounts of microtransactions they had (I remember that from the AngryJoe review) and the $15 for each new monster type of thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if that turned people away from it. Though I personally don't have any problems with microtransactions when they're mostly cosmetic stuff and stuff like that, especially since nobody is being forced to buy them.

hmm, I wonder why they're giving the 360 version of Borderlands 2 rather than the Xbox One version.

Borderlands 2 is not available separately.

Great month!
Heavy Weapon aside....

If you somehow obtained it free outside of GWG then it shoud still work even if you don't resubscribe then

The free to play Evolve is called Evolve Stage Two and in for all intents and purposes a different game than Evolve. It has a dramatically different meta, design, and an in game currency system. Before Turtle Rock was ready to officially relaunch it as Evolve F2P, their contract with 2k expired and I guess the retention numbers were not good enough for 2k to renew it and have them continue, so development on the game is now officially done. A shame it never came to consoles, it solved a lot of the problems that whiny CoD kids had with the game but still kept its large skill gap and learning curve.

It's a great game for anyone interested in playing the MP. Just gotta learn rhe mechanics and hope your teammates know wtf they are doing. Interesting that they are giving the Ultimate Edition with all the DLC. Usually these games are the base games and they want you to buy the DLC. I'll check out Layers of Fear too. And I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one but co-op Borderlands 2 will be fun. Pretty good month.
