when was that thread? Because if it was by end of year, waiting for Nintendo Q4 result, i would have probabily said 8 million shipped, if it was before launch, then i would have said more like 6 million.

That’s not how it works. When a platform has so many games, the game sales usually tend to be lower because the buyer has so many options to choose from. That’s not even mentioning the F2P and PS+ games.

Breath of the wild sold 7.5 million by the end of 2017.

 

Since that, it sold another 100k in Japan alone, so Zelda outsold Horizon... but we already knew that.
