I see things heated up from the recent 2 reviews bringing down the score to 97. I'm not surprised it came from Jim Sterling though. He tends to be one of the more critical reviewers out there, and from reading his review, I can see where he's coming from, but I think 7 is a rather harsh score. I'd say BotW is more than just 'good' haha.

Still. the DDoS strikes are pretty silly. It can inconvenience those who want to read it, but it won't take back his score. Either way, I think most people knew it was going to happen.

I haven't played Zelda but, after reading Sterling's review, I've got to agree with him about weapon durability that eventually breaks the weapon.  I said the same thing about Fallout NV (one of my favorite games).  It's a mechanic that needs to be left in the past.  Pausing in the middle of combat to go into your inventory in order to equip a new weapon is immersion-breaking.

You don't need to pause at all, hold D-right and you can quickly scroll through melee weapons. I like Jim Sterling, but this review reeks of misinformation.

So it settles on 97.

The behaviour towards Jim over this is disgusting though. As he said, not since he panned no man's sky has he received such vile hatred.

Never heard of one of those reviewers before and Jims review is simply trash. Just trying to get attention it seems. I couldnt care what there opinion is.

I only follow afew review sites and they all gave it a 10/10. Thats enough for me.

Nintendo Insider gave Zelda a 10/10 haha im not suprised at all.. lucky there not the only ones.

At first, I was a bit put out about Jim not loving a game that I loved. Then, I realized that it just didn't matter. I'm playing it and having a blast. Even my own kid doesn't think it's the greatest game she's ever played and I haven't put her up for adoption....yet.

It's cool. Diverse opinions are a good thing.
