No, PS4 controllers do not have HD rumble and no you can't play PS4 on the go. You need a PS Vita and constant internet connection for that (which makes it practically useless and needlessly expensive). And let's not pretend like anyone in the West even has a Vita.

Why do you need a pro controller when the joycons are just as good?

I see you have no arguments to back up anything I said lol.

Arrogance is not better, specially when you are objectively wrong.

Terrible trend. PS4 already removed the one real triangle button with the DS4, now we don't even get a picture of a triangle?

How will I keep calm???

Guess Kingdom Hearts 3 is out

Come on Nintendo, what's not to love about triangles

There this is better

Dualshock 4 doesn't have a Start or a Select button.
Imagine that.

These topics are indeed annoying. Where are the following threads:

- PS4 controllers have HD rumble.
- PS4 controllers use  motion camera.
- PS4/X1 controllers don't have an NFC chip.
- PS4 can be played on the go.
- PS4 has touch pads.
- NS don't come with pro controller right out of the box.
- PS4/X1 don't have detachable controllers (See above).

People need to accept that the Switch doesn't do much differently.

You know, I only came here to give lewis a chuckle, but then I saw this above and needed to modify it.

Anyways I'm out, peace.

To be fair, the PS4/X1 controllers not having an NFC chip is a deal-breaker for me.  If they won't communicate with my Amiibo then to hell with them!

It actually took me some time to adapt to it, lol.
I was impulsively trying to hit start and was hitting the touchpad instead, and having no select whatsoever (at least the options works both as the start and select) and hitting the share button was annoying.
Back to my DS3 early this week I kept trying to hit the option button on it, hitting the controller above the start, lol.

The PS4 and XB1 doesn't let me play on the go and in the toilet while dumping my shit! And how they don't play Nintendo Games!

The issue though is -some of those complaints are valid.

Now having a browser IS valid.  Being unable to sign on or use any variation of the internet because you can't login is valid.

And the PRO CONTROLLER not having a headphone jack is also valid.  It is a basic feature that the xbox and ps4 had 4 years ago (3 and X months).  Not to mention I spent a good amount of time gaming on a monitor with no speakers.  So yes it is annoying.

The same with being annoyed at having to do voice chat through an app on the phone.

True. Some of them are really disappointing. The web browser is one that really hit close to home for me.

Xbox One didn't get a headphone jack until mid 2015, though. Just saying.

Oh wow! Really?!?!? Didn't know that.

The word game is easy. I have a counter, and it has just one word: Wii. A massively underpowered console that beat everything else and made boatloads of profit in the process. From the same company. It's unbelievable. Two faces of innovation.

So we are wrong to question Nintendo's experience and research when they developed the Switch because they got it wrong with the N64, got it wrong with the gamecube, got it wrong with the Wii U, but got it right with the Wii. That's 3 consoles of 4 over a 20+ year period that missed the mark, but we should totally trust that Nintendo currently has its finger on the pulse of the gaming industry because they made the Wii. 12 years ago. Brilliant.

The same company also made: NES, SNES, DS, 3DS, Gameboy, GBA (and failures as VirtualBoy, GC, and Wii U, I think N64 wasn't a failure). It has 10 billion $ cash on hand, and was highly profitable almost every year based on production and sales of gaming related hardware and software and gaming related merch.

But please, do tell me how they are clueless when it comes to gaming hardware design.

Also, funny you should mention Gamecube, because it was exactly what "real" or "hardcore" gamers wanted -  the most powerful console of the generation.

I understand what you're saying but, speaking as a former business owner, you WANT to know why people are declining to buy your product. If that didn't happen, if people just kept their mouths shut and simply turned to another product, then not only would you be left dead in the water but you also wouldn't know which way to turn to improve your position. That is why small businesses have suggestion boxes and large businesses do surveys and spend millions on market analysis.

Consumer complaints drive industries forward and help to refine products and services so they meet the needs and desires of the target demographics. Die-hard fans who spend all their time downplaying all complaints and attacking those who explain why they have a problem with a particular product, they are the ones that create a negative effect. Businesses love loyal customers but they hate customers who foster resentment.

You make sense and I agree. Even as a Switch  preorderer (?) I have some concerns, too. Some due to hardware design. Others due to a lack of solid information.

I guess my issue is when the complaints don't come from people who want to improve the product but instead want to belittle it. There's really no way to tell which from which, though. Some of it, I assume are from good people. The rest come from rapists and murderers. That's why we need the wall.

...Sorry. Don't know what got into me, there. Anyway, if you own a business--let's say a butcher shop--and most of your complaints come from vegetarians, should their complaints have weight? Like I said, there's no way to know but a lot of these complaints feel like fans of one sports team just insulting another sports team. They don't want improvement. They want conflict.
