Well, I don't know how you can not be a socialist and still be a leftist. Unfortunately there are no mainstream leftists in the United States so most people view Sanders and far left when in reality he's a centrist with left leanings.

That's like saying only people that want 100% laissez faire capitalism with no regulations and no nothing are rightists. It's not completely black and white.

Yes, it's not black and white, that's what the centre is, it's the grey area.

Besides me being anti-Trump, I don't associate myself with any group, politically. I have right and left values but my gf says I lean slightly more left. That being said, as someone who has been following the political threads here since the election (some might say they made me jaded towards the politics section) I will say that this place is surprisingly equal when it comes to the % of right and left and everywhere in between. Here, the Trump poll was very close (iirc Trump may have even won in that poll). But yeah, I'd say political diversity is pretty good here.

Just wanna ask if the same is happening here? I think opinions are cool no matter how different they are. That has always been the point of a forum and its just sad that neogaf is turning to opposite of that. It's like a hive and just causes the other party not to discuss meaningful conversations with that group.

You see this because the left is not just midly opposed to what Trump is doing.

Let's say someone believes in global warming or that it's bad to pollute our air / water with coal & pipelines.  Do you expect to debate and change their mind?  You can't, they will just think you're either incredibly stupid, or selfish and ill intentioned.

Global warming exists so there is no believing in facts. Why would  a person who is right change thwir mind? Tons of research has proven it but people disagree? Well 2+2=10 and I can argue that since we are not living in reality like Trump and his supporters.

Funny. From my experience across multiple sites, Xbox fans have been the biggest trolls until they saw the PS4 destroy the X1 and now they cry about it much like you are doing now. Guess you never heard of GameTrailers? Biggest Xbox fanboy haven before it went down.
